Caramel Apple Pancakes



A thick stack of pancakes with a fresh crunch of apple makes for a delightful start to your day. Mix some caramel sauce with your syrup and you've got a bone-fide autumn breakfast.

Ingredients

PANCAKES
2 C pancake mix (Really Great Food Company or Hodgson Mill)
1/2 C apple sauce (Eden)
1 1/2 C almond milk (SoDelicious)
1 egg
2 Tbsp coconut oil (Carrington Farms)
1 tsp cinnamon

TOPPING
1 sliced apple
Syrup (Tree of Life)
Caramel Sauce (Date Lady)
Cinnamon (optional)



Directions

PANCAKES
Follow instructions on any pancake box.

TOPPING
Thinly slice apple and top. Mix equal parts maple syrup and caramel sauce. Stir together and pour over pancakes. Optionally garnish with cinnamon. Serve.
