Dr. Paul Ratte, ND

Paul Ratté, ND, a naturopathic doctor at Rhythm of Health, Inc. in Woodbury, is an authority on functional medicine, a science-based health care approach that improves physiological function and restores health.

Paul creates personalized wellness programs for his clients that prioritize their health concerns and reflect their commitment to change. He believes it is not enough to “treat” disease with natural medicine, as optimal health is the proper integration of diet, exercise, stress management, and nutritional supplementation. Symptom management is important, but not at the expense of avoiding the true cause of a condition.

Paul graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with a degree in communication studies before completing his doctor of naturopathic medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1997. He is a passionate proponent of integrated health care and has experience collaborating with medical professionals to provide the best care for his clients.

Paul is an assistant professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. He teaches clinical nutrition to chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage therapy students. He is certified Defeat Autism Now! Practitioner. He has conducted clinical research with the Functional Medicine Research Center located in Gig Harbor, WA.

Paul is married and has 3 boys ages 15, 13, and 1 who take cod liver oil without complaining. He is an active member of the MN Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He moderates a local functional medicine study group which includes medical doctors, chiropractors, and acupuncturists.
